IM real pleased to say I enjoy this hotel time and time again. I have watched it grow over the years and have bonded with the staff, who treat me real well. their are a couple things I wish they would include to the casion and IM sure they will do in the future.

We stayed at the Silverton In Sept 2010 after a friend of ours told us to try it out. We loved it. We stayed again the 18th thru the 21st of April 2011 and we fell in love wth the Silverton all over again. We also stayed at the Mandalay Bay on the same trip. The Silverton out shined Mandalay Bay 100 times over. Will be staying at the Silverton in the furture. We have found our home away from home while staying in Vegas at the Silverton.

We just Moved here and tried Mi Casa Grill it was some of the best food we have had since we got here, my wife had the Carna asda salad, and I had a steak & shrimp dinner (forgot the name) awsome!The atmosphere was very nice, the prices were good.We will be returning!

We arrived after an 6 hour traffic jammed commute from Orange Conty. Rosie at the front desk met us with a smile made our check in process flawlees. She handled several calls while checking us in and setting up our players club cards. Being an operations manager, I recognize outstanding employees, and she is a gem! Thanks for the great experience. We look forward to returning soon.

I was so amazed at how nice this place was for $55 / a night! I was highly impressed, the rooms were fantastically clean and did not smell like smoke. The aquarium was awesome with the mermaid! The Bass Pro Shop was a nice surprise. Overall an excellent, excellent experience, would return to Las Vegas just to stay here and relax again!!

Hello there good people. Just wanted to share a note. This is long overdue... When we got back from our stay @ the Silverton .. the first thing I wanted to do was get back to you with our observation. But, I had to go in for hip surgery and I got side tracked. So... this is belated but I feel it must be said. We spent 8 nights at the Silverton and I can honestly say that we had the best time we ever had in Vegas. I am 60 .. so you are not hearing this from someone that has not had enough time in Vegas to know good service and hospitality when I see (get) it. Your staff and everything about the front desk, maids, floor personal etc. left nothing to be desired. We were treated with the 1st class service in every manner and detail from the day we arrived until the day we left. YES, even the Valet service was over the top. We will be coming back to the Silverton ASAP... Thank you for a GREAT stay and... please don't change a thing.

The hotel itself was good, except for the $100 they hold on your card...I've stayed several places in Vegas before, this is the only one that did that. The check in lady talked about their lower resort fee, it was $4 lower than Excalibur, but at least Excalibur included internet in theirs. $10 extra per day here for the internet. Glad I didn't have my laptop. The games were awesome, and I immediately signed up for the rewards program. My biggest complaint was the buffet. While I had a players club coupon for free. Dinner for each of my KIDS (ages 7 and 9) was $25 each! I thought that was just a bit overboard. And when I received my receipt, it appeared there were extra charges, and when I inquired, the rude cashier didn't say a word, only drew an arrow with his pen to the price. I was already upset about the price for the kids alone, but this guy REALLY made me mad. That was probably the worst part about our stay. The beds were comfortable and my room had a view of the strip.

the only thing we had problems with was the cabs.... With all the construction going on they did not want to leave the strip. And we never could find the shuttle. 20 to the strip.... 42 to down town. This was our second stay at the Silverton -- any time the Avett Brothers are there, we'll be there, too! -- & were thoroughly satisfied with our adjoining rooms & the service we received throughout the casino & the lodge. Last time it was just the two of us; this time we brought our three children who loved the pool, the aquarium & the Bass Pro Shop. We made what we now know to be a mistake of spending our last night in Vegas at another hotel -- a mistake we can guarantee won't happen again!

We stopped by this casino on a whim on the way to South Point and had a blast. Buffet is currently free with rewards club sign up and is probably the best buffet for the $ I've had in Vegas. We came back on a Wed., and got 2 for 1. Can't wait to return.

Very impressed with the Silverton. It was our first time there and we loved it. Especially nice with the kids to have the Bass Pro shop connected. Great Buffet. Ample parking made it easy for our friends and us to park the Boat, Jet Skis and head out to Lake Mead. Also, impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Love the fact that the hotel is small enough you can find friends easily. Had a super time and will stay there again.

The bed was awesome and the peace and quiet much needed. Perfect for our first night in Vegas and it was close to our family's residence. Truthfully, we have a place at PH Towers and we told them they needed to up their game as far as the king sized pillows go. We told them that your bed was nicer than their "5 star" accomodation & we wanted upgrades in the future. No standard pillows for a king bed!!! Loved the Sundance Grill also. Ate their 3 times.

I try to stay at the Silverton when ever I am in Las Vegas. This last time I stayed to and from the Palm Springs area. I have been in the hospitality business (Ex. Hskp and Rooms Director) for over 25 years and am never disappointed in guest services, common area, food or rooms. All of my expectations were met.

Wow, we stayed there 5 days and enjoyed every one of them. Beds were GREAT, easy access to rooms (without having to walk through the entire casino, nice pool, smaller scale hotel and many excellent food choices. Mia Casa and seasons buffet were delicious. Starbucks served everywhere. Enjoyable atmosphere while playing tables and machines, friendly staff. We will there there again and again!

When the whole family was together, and I was too ill to cook, my husband suggested we take everyone to Twin Creeks for our Thanksgiving dinner. While there were no dishes to wash, bird carcass to boil, and no house-cleaning for guests, the great surprise was that the reasonable price was worth not only escape from housework but also a delightful atmosphere! No waiting in buffet lines! We had reservations. No screaming children (or screaming adults, for that matter!) The ambiance allowed us all to communicate as a family. We will ALWAYS have holiday dinners at Twin Creeks!

When we come to Vegas we always stay at the Silverton. Away from the hustle of downtown with all the cool bars, restaurants and casino at your finger tips. We love the rooms and the vibe is so cool. Staff are pleasant too.

My husband and I stayed for 4 days 3 nights. sorta a mini honeymmon we never got, first vacation in 15 years with out the kids or parents...lol. From start to end EVERYONE was as nice as they could be. The checkin was smooth, simple and we got the room we asked for. (although it would have been nice for a suite to be availible, but we were told they were reseved for the owners to have control of on weekends) but the king room we had was very clean, comfy and very quiet. (no veiw what so ever, but i was not there to stare out the window).The cleaning staff were wonderful and friendly, dealers were great, tables were better then any other casino we went to. We felt like the overall experience was more like a layed back vacation that we truley got to enjoy. I will never stay on the strip ever again, The Silverton is my Vegas destination for now on.. !..Oh, and the price was half of any other casino even close to the strip, and for the money we did great !!!! what a bargin. I would love to come back to the Silverton and stay a whole week...maybe next time we will bring the boys and try out the pool, I heard it was great also !

We three couples had a great experience at your hotel and casino. The food was great as well as the staff maning the card tables. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we can't wait to return. The only wish we had was that we could have been able to swim after dinner, but it was closed at 8pm.

We had a wonderful time. All the staff were fantastic. When we first arrived our AC wasn't working. I went down to the front desk to let them know, I went back to our room, closed the door and the repair man knocked a few SECONDS later! He checked out the unit, told us it had to be replaced. We went down to the casino for the evening and came back to a cool room. Now that is service! If you want to stay somewhere that takes care of you stay at the Silverton. Great food, Huge buffet, Gambling!

We are locals who often visit Silverton to gamble, eat and drink. We recently went to the buffet on Dec. 2. The line didn't move barely at all and we ended up waiting 3 1/2 hours to get in, confused at the holdup. When we reached the front, it became apparent. Their was one cashier, who was allowing random people to use handicapped line. For instance, a family of ten got in because a younger family member was on crutches who was actually able to stand on foot(they waited maybe 10 minutes). After them, two women used handicapped line and looked completely fine(no sticker or handicapped pass used) they waited maybe 15 minutes and we could over hear them still complaining of wait time which was very frustrating. Lastly a familyused handicapped line because they had a stroller. This seemed very unfair and many customers could be heard complaining and even becoming hostile because of this system. In addition, inside buffet many tables were empty but no one to bus them except one manager who instead of grabbing a bussing tray, grabbed a few items at a time. It was clear not enough employees were staffed that day. Also, plates ran out and we were so exhausted the food couldn't even make it better. If a promotion is going to be done, please staff it accordingly and have a stricter system on who can use handicapped line. This experience has put a bad taste in our mouths and even though we have other promotions to use, may not use them in fear of repeating this experience. Thanks

There are many hotel and casino choices in Las Vegas but 3 years ago we decided to try Silverton and since then we have always come back. We love the service, the rooms are always clean and exceed expectations, the food and casino are both great and being a fisherman able to walk into the Bass Pro Shops while enjoying my stay what more could anybody ask for. A friend introduced us to silverton. We loved it-it was away from strip madness. We stayed there again in April of 2011 and will stay once again for the Holidays. We absolutely love the place. All the staff have always been attentive. We have come to know Auntie LORI! :-)...She has always been very helpful and showed appreciation for my son being in the service....As a parent it makes me feel warm and welcomed :-). Plus you can choose any machine you want....i like avoiding the crowds and Silverton is just perfect!

Food @ Sun Dance is GREAT! I went to Front Sight for (x4) days, you should reach out to their management again and try to grab market shares. The Saddle West is a dump and you have great beds & food for the same price. 27 miles vs 36 miles, no problem.

I just wanted to tell you that Mia Casa and Chef Earl are the very best Las Vegas has to offer. We are locals and eat at Mia Casa at least 3 times a month. The setting is warm and inviting and the food like no other in Las Vegas. We are ocals who have lived here for over 66 years. We know what we are talking about. We bring firend and family and out of town guests here and their feelings are like ours. THIS IS SOME SPECIAL MEXICAN EXPERIENCE. We have been coming to Silverton since it was Boomtown. This is the second time we have used yhour facility. We have found we in the Las Vegas area, we prefer to avoid, as one of your front desk people referred to it as, the chaos on the strip other than we want to be there. Staying in the mega resorts is not our style and the amenities are available at the Silverton. Chances are good the next time we are in the Las Vegas area we will stay with you.
